From “Capodichino” airport in Naples to central station “Napoli Centrale” by bus or taxi. From central station “Napoli Centrale” to Salerno train station by train. From Salerno Central Station to Vietri sul Mare by bus or taxi. The bus service is provided by the CSTP Company.

By car:

For those coming from the North with the car: A3 Napoli-Pompei-Salerno motorway, exit Vietri sul Mare. Take the A30 Caserta-Salerno motorway, after the service station, follow the signs for Salerno for about 15 km., Exit Salerno centro, turn left, follow the signs for the Amalfi Coast. For those coming from the South with the car: Highway SA-RC towards Salerno, exit Salerno centro (follow signs for the Amalfi Coast).

Sea links to the Amalfi Coast

Ferries from Salerno to the Amalfi Coast During the period from April to the end of October, there are convenient sea links with hydrofoils and ferries departing from Salerno’s seaport and diving in the cities of Positano and Amalfi (and vice versa). The starting point is Piazza Concordia, opposite Salerno Train Station. It is therefore a very convenient way if you are traveling by train. Some sea links are also available from the city of Sorrento.

Territorial scope

Vietri sul Mare, where is located Hotel-Ristorante Bristol, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Salerno in Campania, Italy. UNESCO has declared Vietri sul Mare (along with other countries of the Amalfi Coast) since 1997 a World Heritage Site. Vietri bases its economy on tourism and craftsmanship of ceramics and is considered one of the most important artistic and traditional ceramic production centers for which a recent national law provides for the creation of its own trademark that protects its production and its production, image. The center of Vietri lies on a terraced flap on the sea and is dominated by the Mother Church of St. John the Baptist, the main town monument, of the 17th century plant, surmounted by the elegant dome majolica.
